The MOM District is designed to turn a historically underserved corridor into a vibrant, walkable entertainment district for residents, creatives, entrepreneurs, and visitors. Anchored by a high-tech Content Fulfillment Center (CFC), film studios, coworking hubs, and retail, MOM will serve as a full-service platform for independent creators to produce, distribute, and monetize their work locally. With $12.5 million in development funding underway for Phase I, the project emphasizes culture, equity, and long-term community investment, creating over 1,000 jobs and building a sustainable model of growth for Chicago’s West Side.
